I design and build custom WordPress solutions—from bespoke themes and plugins to API integrations and full platforms—for businesses in South Africa and internationally.
I am a WordPress & Full-Stack Developer with deep working knowledge of PHP, WordPress core, themes and plugins, MySQL, the WordPress REST API and responsive front-ends built with Bootstrap and React. I have delivered recruitment, booking and e-commerce platforms, working remotely with international teams.
I write clean, maintainable code, debug problems independently, and focus on speed, scalability and security. I can also explain technical decisions clearly to non-technical stakeholders and turn business requirements into working solutions.
My skills are built through hands-on delivery and continuous learning (including Udemy courses in advanced Elementor, PHP and more), backed by an IIE Rosebank College Diploma in I.T Network Management. I am currently open to Senior WordPress / Full-Stack development roles and new client projects.
WHAT I BRING

I design the architecture and build custom WordPress themes, plugins and modules, such as a job-listing and alert system and a mobile salon-booking platform with scheduling and authentication.

Own the technical health of a portfolio of client websites: hosting, DNS and domain management, security and performance.
Lead technical contact for resolving infrastructure and server-side issues.

Worked with Digihelp to architect and implement a full-stack recruitment platform for
Sales Force Recruitment, enabling automated job alerts, seamless candidate onboarding,
and improved digital workflows for job seekers and recruiters.
Technical Scope:
• Led the system design and implementation on a LAMP stack.
• Developed custom WordPress modules to handle dynamic job listings and notifications.
• Integrated automated email alerts to keep candidates informed of new opportunities.
• Optimised front-end performance and ensured full mobile responsiveness.
• Deployed and tested the platform in a remote development environment.

Tralee, Ireland — Remote
Collaborated with DigiHelp to engineer a fully responsive mobile salon web application
for on-demand beauty service bookings. Worked across the full development lifecycle:
system architecture, UI/UX implementation, backend logic, API workflows and deployment.
The platform lets customers schedule mobile beauty services and lets stylists and
technicians operate on a location-based, service-on-demand model. It includes
dynamic scheduling, service listings, user authentication and automated notifications.

Supported students and admin staff by testing and evaluating network systems and keeping day-to-day operations running. This role built the independent troubleshooting and problem-analysis habits I bring to development work.
MY DUTIES WERE AS FOLLOWS:- Diagnosed desktop, application and networking issues
- Provided 1st/2nd line support to students and admin staff
- Maintained a log of detected problems and system backups
- Supported Microsoft operating systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, TCP/IP and Ethernet
- Updated and monitored user accounts (Active Directory)
